| Responsibilities: | |||||
1. Develop new CMP processes using Design of Experiments (DoE)
2. Sustain production in CMP area
3. Evaluate new process consumables
4. Perform metrology on wafers using thin film measuring tools, AFM, SEM, and surface
profilometers
5. Maintain detailed research log and notebook for CMP activities
6. Perform Gauge R&R¿s on advanced metrology tools
7. Work with equipment & consumables vendor to quickly resolve process issues
8. Present timely and CMP area production metrics reports with corrective actions
9. Develop and maintain Process & Operations Specifications
10. Support new tool installation & qualification
11. Supervise subordinates & help coordinate departmental resources to meet tactical and
strategic requirements
12. Work on Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) to solve Process issues
13. Work with Manufacturing to resolve production issues & reduce cycle time
14. To establish equipment acceptance procedures and improvement methodology
15. To ensure the robustness of the CMP processes with SPC control
16. To develop training and certification program for module and manufacturing personnel
17. Use safe working habits
18. Comply with procedures stipulated in SilTerra Environmental Management System.
Requirements:
1. 3 - 5 years working experience in the semiconductor industry, or a related industry
2. Experience in IC fab related processes. CMP experience very desirable and preferred.
3. Experience operating IC related metrology tools
4. PC computer literacy required
5. Experience operating IC process and metrology tools. Familiar with IC industry practices and
methodologies.
6. Hands-on technical project management experience
7. Experience as a Process Engineer and/or experience in high-volume manufacturing a plus
Education required:
Minimum Bachelors Degree and above in related field.
Skills / Abilities:
1. Good verbal and written English communication skills
2. Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia a plus
3. Knowledge of DoE and statistics
4. Willing to work on shift
