Responsibilities
• To assist project managers to carry out project related support
• To schedule and plan activities in the department
• To analyse and prepare reports on inspections
• To monitor daily operations at the project site
• To ensure all work carried out are in accordance to the specifications, construction plans, procedures and instructions
• To co-ordinate and organise site inspections on completed work with contractors and project managers
• To ensure the project is fit-for-purpose and adheres to budgets and schedules
• To attend site meetings
• To co-ordinate on–the-job trainings
• Responsible for modifications and plant improvements
• To determine and improve technical procedures and process flows
• To troubleshoot problems related to production processes or equipments
• To sustain yields, quality, cost and planning for process flows
• Liaison with peers and consultants on job requirements
• To provide guidance to the production team

Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering majoring in Process / Material / Metallurgy or related fields
• 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field would be an added advantage
• Self-motivated, disciplined, analytical team player with good communication skills
• Well versed in AutoCAD, Mechatronic / Automation skills
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin would be an added advantage
• Training and development/assignments will be provided in Malaysia and in China / Taiwan at an operating Blast Furnace plant
• No significant mobility / travel constraints
