Panduan DPLI : Tips Peperiksaan dan Temuduga MEdSI

Kerjaya perguruan dikategorikan sebagai salah satu profesion yang tertua di dunia. Kini ianya telah memasuki satu dimensi baru.

Pada masa dahulu guru hanya dikenali sebagai penyampai ilmu pengetahuan dalam mata pelajaran dalam bidang tertentu. Kini guru bukan sekadar menyampaikan ilmu pengetahuan. Tanggung jawab guru diluaskan lagi sebagai pemudah cara pengetahuan dan harus mempunyai persediaan yang cukup untuk membentuk dan mewujudkan kondisi pelajaran dan pembelajaran secara cekap dan efektif.

Kerjaya dalam bidang perguruan ini mempunyai cabaran yang besar. Sebelum bergelar guru, banyak aspek yang perlu diberi perhatian, misalnya dari segi kelayakan akademik dan ujian kemasukan yang perlu dihadapinya iaitu ujian dan temuduga Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory (MEdSI).

Kebanyakan guru berjaya melepasi ujian bertulis yang diadakan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi Malaysia (KPTM) dengan kerjasama Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia (MPM) namun ramai yang tidak berjaya melepasi ujian temuduga yang diadakan.

  • Ensure secure operations of in-house computer systems, servers and network connections. This includes system logs review and analysis, scrutinizing network traffic, establishing and updating virus scans, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in performing periodic system health check and maintenance for network security devices such as firewall, router, intrusion detection system, antivirus system, web filtering system, and etc.
  • Assist in preventing proliferation of viruses, hacker intrusions and malicious network activities.
  • Support any network security incident analysis and emergency response in strategizing responses; perform investigation, recovery and post-mortem analysis.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of the defined security policies, standards and guidelines.
Job Requirements :
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Preferably senior executives specializing in IT/Computer – Network/System/ Database Admin or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
  • At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the similar position.
  • Knowledge in Local and Wide Area Network
  • Knowledge of IP addressing
