    • To ensure sound engineering design, process and quality practices are followed in accordance to defined standards and guidelines.

      Job Requirements

      Candidates should possess a higher education degree in the field of IT, Computer Science, Computer / Software Engineering with minimum 8 years to 11 years working experience.

      The following skill-sets and experiences are required:

      • Strong QA and Application Testing knowledge, with in depth software quality assurance experiences.
      • Good understanding and knowledge on EAI, SOA, Data Integration, BPM and Message Brokers, Web Services, etc, concepts and technologies.
      • Strong knowledge on design patterns such as GoF, GRASP etc.
      • Proficient in Object Oriented Language and develops software on either one of the following –Java, C / C++etc.
      • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in supporting and implementing enterprise Java applications.
      • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with advance technical skills on JPA or Hibernate, JMS, MVP / MVC, Tomcat, Spring Framework,, JTA, AJAX, Ruby, JQuery etc.
      • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in supporting and  implementing project using one of the commercial or open source SOA / EAI Software Stack – e.g. Websphere, Weblogic, jBoss, Sun Java Systems, etc.
      • A technology agnostic mentality with the ability to consider and implement a broad array of solutions; sensible and strong opinions about technology platforms, partners, and implementation
      • An attuned aesthetic sensibility and an overriding appreciation for exceptional user experience as the ultimate goal of all design and development efforts
      • Possess a proven background of both web application development and production deployment, including structuring robust database schemas and designing effective administrative back-ends with varied roles and permissions. 
      • This candidate will also demonstrate deep experience with modern Web Frameworks (Web 2.0) and the ability to leverage them.
      • Proficient in administrating of various Relational Databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, Informix, DB2, Microsoft SQL etc).
      • Proficient in data system development, including data modeling and data normalization technique.
      • Strong knowledge on SQL Queries and PL/SQL procedures.
      • Proficient in following Operating System : Red Hat Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, Microsoft Windows Server.
      • Good written and verbal communication skills - Ability to engage people at different technical levels.

        Data Analyst
         


        Summary: Responsible for sourcing and capturing electronic products and parts related market data and pricing information into IHS proprietary content applications. Initial focus of the job will be to gather market data on Displays (TV/Tablets) and Display Systems, with potential to expand to other product lines.
        General Job Duties:
        • Work assignments and direction provided by overseas managers
        • Work independently or as part of a team
        • Requires independent judgment & problems solving 
        • Responsible for quality and currency of data sourced and captured per requirements by business units
        • Responding to data related questions and requests by internal customers as well as external data suppliers
        Specific Job Duties:
        • Manual crawling of web sites to source electronic  parts and product related information
        • Automated crawling of web sites to source electronic  parts and product related information
        • Capturing data sourced from web sited into IHS defined standard formats in MS Excel or other systems.
        • Capturing data provided by suppliers via email or ftp sites into IHS defined standard formats in MS Excel or other systems.
        • Communicating with data supplier contacts via email and phone to solicit content
        • Capturing financial and pricing information from supplier websites to IHS defined standard formats
        Required Education:
        • High School Diploma required. Post High School education in the areas of Finance or Electronic Industry related fields is a definite plus.
        Required Experience:
        • 2 Years+ experience using computers and software applications
        • 2 years+ experience MS Excel for data capture
        • Advanced level written and spoken English language skills
        Other Skills:
        • Ability to read and speak Chinese, Korean or Japanese languages is a definite plus
        • Experience using or configuring  web crawling tools is a definite plus 
        Requirements:
        • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
        • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
        • Applicants must be willing to work in Kelana Jaya.
        • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
