WELDING SUPERVISOR (Johor - Gelang Patah) Responsibilities: • Assist welding manager to plan, direct and co-ordinate manufacturing activities to achieve in time delivery in a cost effective manner while maintaining consistent standard of quality. • Enforcement of welders to strictly follow the company procedures. • Conduct monitoring and control in the shop floor to ensure welders complied to all procedures. • Familiarize and fully understand technical specification and relevant standards. • Clarify and/or resolve any discrepancy with relevant parties. • Liaise with superior to coordinate all aspect to the latest welding technique, consumables, combinations of welding parameter, preheating/PWHT requirement, etc. • Formulate and implement welding training programs. Requirements: • Diploma in Material Science Metallurgy/Mechanical Engineering. • Minimum 3 years working experience as welding supervisor in fabrication and welding activities with having experience in managing work for welders. Welding foreman with the necessary academic qualification will also be acceptable. • Knowledge of interpretation, welding process, basic NDT requirements and also the relevant welding qualification process is required. • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
