Manager for Software Development - 1 position

Salary range is Rm8000-10000

Job Description:
-Manage and be responsible for the delivery of software development projects end-to-end.
-Create and execute a project plan, gather and understand project requirements, produce technical designs, supervise software development, plan and conduct system testings, implement the software solution and manage production support.
-Plan and manage the development tools and processes, with a focus on continuous improvements
-Prepare project documentations and communicate regular status reports to relevant stakeholders.
-Manage project scope and change control process to ensure that impacts are effectively addressed.
-Develop software development project risk mitigation plans
-Develop, document and adhere to development best practices, standards and processes.

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline.
-At least 8 years of SDLC and software project team management experience.
-Must have design, development, testing and implementation working experience.
-Must have experience with Java development and architecture.
-Proficient with database, Linux and Windows O/S software development.
-Experience with mobile application development, client-server and web-based architecture, software performance benchmark and optimization and software security is desirable.
