New Vacancy - Improvement Engineer

Working Hours: Mon-Fri
Responsibilities:

Establishes Continuous Improvement Profit Plan and subsequent Forecast goals

Using standard tracking and reporting system, will prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and achievement of product / process quality and savings goals

To provide coordination of all activities relating to Continuous Improvement, enhancing knowledge of the tools and techniques of Continuous Improvement/Lean methods.

Identify and bring forward to champion new project opportunities.

Lead Kaizen events to reduce cost, reduce inventory, improve lead-time, improve quality, and achieve other organization performance improvement efforts.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other engineering degree, or equivalent experience required.

2. Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.

3. Experience using Minitab or any other statistical software will be an added advantage

4. Proven experience with lean manufacturing tools with the ability to teach others practical Lean skills.

5. Problem-solving to determine and correct the root causes.

6. Must have excellent organizational and computer skills (etc. Word, Excel, Power Point)

7. Must work well in a team environment and able to work across sites, and among employees at all levels in the company.

8. Must be a problem solver and demonstrate strong communication skills with all levels of the organization.

9. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
