| Responsibilities: | |||||
1. Provide engineering support for continuous equipment improvement projects and resolution for engineering issues.
2. Participate in financial budgeting forecast for etch engineering module.
3. Implementation of technology and equipment roadmap for different category of processes.
4. Define criteria for new equipment evaluation and make recommendation.
5. Participate in daily line sustenance and critical line issues discussion.
6. Lead work groups in standardization of engineering practices and documentations such as 5S, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing etc.
7. Maintain house keeping disciplines and safety procedures in the office area and work place.
8. Identify key bottleneck areas within the module and drive programs to improve tool uptime and availability. Must be able to work with CIM group and liaise with tool vendors to ensure tool reporting systems are accurate
9. Supervise equipment transfer to fab operations.
10 Plan and execute group¿s goals to achieve module objectives thru KPIs.
11. Prepare and review module¿s monthly expenses and plan for cost reduction
12. Actively participate in inter module CFTs and have active review with tool/equipment/parts vendors for troubleshooting tool related issues, quality issues and to find avenues for improvements and cost reduction
Requirements:
1) Master or Degree holder in related fields Years of experience:
2) Min 8 yrs experience in Wafer Fab Etch of which 5yrs must be Direct in Etch Equipment
3) Knowledge in SPC/DOE/FMEA/8D tools and data analysis Added advantage if have experience in AutoCad/Lean Manufacturing/Mechatronics
