SENIOR ENGINEER / ENGINEER - IMPLANT (EQUIPMENT)

Job Title        : SENIOR ENGINEER / ENGINEER - IMPLANT (EQUIPMENT)

Closing Date: 31-JAN-2011

Responsibilities:

1) Perform tool upkeep and maintenance 
2) Develop new preventive maintenance procedures to achieve the availability and uptime goals. Troubleshoot and repair all tool issues, to minimize tool downtime 
3) Coordinate equipment installation and qualification in the stipulated time 
4) Own operational indicators such as safety, availability, line yield, defect reduction and excursion prevention 
5) Use statistical process control (SPC) methods, FMEA studies, and data extraction and analysis to attain equipment improvements 
6) Work closely within the manufacturing, planning and other groups to achieve the fab moves goal. 
7) To manage day-to-day equipment related activities; organize all spare parts, consumables, supplies, tools 
8) Improve tool performance, uptime and reduce Cost of Ownership 
9) To establish PM and equipment improvement methodology 
10)Work on Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) to resolve line issues


Requirements:



1) BS or MS in electrical, mechatronics, electronics or mechanical engineering, physics 
2) At least 3-years experience in the relevant area 
3) Candidate must have good leadership skills 
4) Strong understanding of fundamentals 
5) Effective communication and project management skills 
6) Should have competency in problem solving and willing to take new challenges 
7) Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
